Even though I couldn't find any monster, the game has quite a nice charm and atmosphere to it!

First thank you, it was my first try at a 2D game and making sprites.

and for the Monster, the themes might give a hint where it is.

cool game but there is not a monster

and you can walk out of the map in some places

1. None that you can fight (the spear is a red hering)

2. Really Screen turns black?

The screen doesn't turn black. It becomes brown and nothing appears on the screen anymore else than the player with the spear. not even the trees

This is weird...

Can you tell me in what direction you walked or where you walked out of the map? I can find no spot on the Map there this can happen...

Found the problem. There was a large soil patch where you could walk on to and not see any Trees. This is no longer the case.

Thanks for the help i would not have seen it :)
